EB04 birch desk, with birch bent-plywood legs, designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe of Utrecht, Netherlands in 1950.

A good stylish working desk; the piece has three drawers to the left and a cupboard with two adjustable shelves to the right, together with an extension leaf to provide additional work surface if required. The back is finished so the piece can be used in the middle of the room if required.

The desk is in good overall condition with some signs of wear in line with age; user marks to the top including very slight variations in tone and a faint ring mark. The door locks and we have an original Pastoe key.
