Monumental or oversize ceramic table lamp by the highly-regarded English artist potter Alan Wallwork (1931 - 2019). Signed and dated to underside AW 64. Very unusual to see these larger pieces, from the London years, particularly with a date.
A wonderful statement piece, in good vintage condition. There is light age-appropriate wear and occasional flaws in line with the hand-making and firing process including minor imperfections, asymmetry and fine firing cracks. The lamp has its original wiring which we advise is tested/replaced prior to use in the country of install.
