Small table lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips, Netherlands.

The lamp is designed with a hole in the shade to allow light to radiate above and below the shade. This piece is an early example of the design, with brass feet and other details (not lacquered metal), and a slightly more domed shade.

The piece is in good condition, the inside is the original off-white and the outside has been refinished in light blue-grey. There is a very slight dent in the shade and another in the upper section of the body (see images). The shade has retained good shape and fits well to the body; the original Philips label is still in place on the inside. New wiring and PAT tested for the UK.

Dimensions: H 33cm x Dia 27cm

Bulb: large screw-fitting bulb (not included)
