A square push-pull door handle made of bronze featuring a raised design of simple architect's or stone mason's tools. 20th century design, found in Germany.
The piece is in good vintage condition with a dark brown colour to the metal. There are signs of wear in line with age and use, including oxidation, changing tones to the patina from brown to green, from handling and exposure to weathering. The handle has not been polished and the patina is as found. See images for examples and overview.
Installation is through holes in the mounting plate using bolts as suit the thickness of your door and weight of the metal; fixings not included. The bracket of this handle is attached below the left side in the main image; the bracket can be removed and positioned to move the main plate further away from the door frame if required.
Approximate dimensions:
H: 15.5cm
W: 15.5cm
D: 6.5cm to the top of the main plate, including the bracket 8.5cm to the top of the raised pattern
