Bent ply lounge chair - model 8000 - by Tjerk Reijenga for Pilastro, Netherlands 1960s.

Rarely seen lounge chair with plywood seat and back panel screwed to a grey/brown steel frame. The striking sculptural form and compact size belie a very comfortable piece.

The chair is in good original condition with signs of wear to the plywood - and scant signs of wear to the paintwork - in line with age and use. All original feet in place. Overall, for us, the piece has good patina and is full of character.
