Brass Pendant Light by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Sweden [II]

A brass pendant light in the shape of a top hat by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for his company in Markaryd, Sweden, mid-20th century. Unusual and rarely seen piece of Nordic design.

The brass shade and original brass ceiling canopy are in good vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The shade is in two parts with all four original connecting screws and spacers in place; white inside. The wiring is original - we recommend it is renewed in the country of install to ensure it meets local needs and regulations. The lamp-holder takes an E27 screw-fitting bulb; we always advise low-heat options to protect the fixture.
