A large bronze door handle of square form with organic design. Mid-20th century European.
This is a heavy piece, made of cast bronze with an organic design. We have not cleaned or polished this piece and it is offered as found. The metal has very nice changing tones from use, and a mellow aged patina. The handle could suit both interior and exterior doors. There are minor signs of wear in line with age and use, including oxidation. In most of these images the handle is shown with the bracket on the right; image 4 shows the handle turned to position the bracket on the left.
The handle is fixed to the door using two bolts (not supplied) which fit through the base of the bracket, as suit the design of your door, and the weight of the bronze.

Size of main plate: H 15cm x W 15cm x D 3cm (allowing for the raised pattern in the centre)
Overall size: H 15cm x W 15.5cm x D 8cm (allowing for the bracket and the raised pattern)
