Black mid-century modern ceramic lamp base in the manner of Georges Jouve, France.
The exterior has a satin black glaze, with the interior glazed in very deep green; well-executed, unsigned. Very good original condition, with age-appropriate signs of wear; minor spots that generally look to have happened at the time of making, and slight asymmetry at the waist. The wiring is also original and will require replacement for daily use; we recommend this is done in the country of install to ensure it meets your needs and regulations.
