An impressive design with lots of interesting detail. The wood of this set looks to be rosewood, with a glossy varnish, and the metalwork is finished in black with brass accents. The set is largely in original condition with signs of wear in line with age and use throughout. You may wish to refinish, or the set can be used as it is. The lighting trays will need new strips or bulbs installed, and we recommend this is carried out in situ to ensure it meets your local needs.
All components are finished to all sides, to enable the set to be used as a room divider. Please note for this reason the uprights do not fix to the back wall - strength is taken from bracing at the ceiling, and suitable installation will be required. You may wish to liaise with your metalworker to ensure the components work for your ceiling height and project.
