Decorative headboard by Luciano Frigero, Italy, 1968.
The sculptural and striking design is the model "Donatella", made up of multiple satin and textured brass pieces covering a metal frame. Overall, the piece is in very good vintage condition. In the detail there are light signs of wear to some of the panels, and a little more wear to the finish on the functional frame as one might expect from age and use.
We know that bed sizes vary from country to country so we are offering the headboard for sale on its own for you to pair with your bed/mattress as required. Alternatively, the decorative panel could be removed from the legs/frame and wall mounted - as a headboard or wall sculpture - subject to suitable fixings.
