Italian Enamel and Brass Door Handles attributed to Del Campo [I]
A set of two long striking door handles with a simple flat design mounted on brass fixings. Italy, second half 20th century.
The pieces are of good quality, nicely made and attributed to Del Campo. Enamelled to the face with a smooth silver or platinum leaf ground and white geometric patterns; black on the reverse. Beautiful vintage pieces; some wear from age and use - notably the edges and corners of one enamel face, and to the brass fixings.
Approximate dimensions per piece:
H: 30cm
W: 10cm
D*: 4cm
* This is the approximate projection from the face of the door to the leading edge of the handle.
Installation
The handles were originally configured to use either side of a glass door, however you could consult your fitter to enable them to work on thicker doors, or alongside one another on double doors if you wish.
