Italian Umbrella Stand with Brass Tray, 1950s

Umbrella stand with brass tray, in the style of Pier Luigi Colli. Mid-20th century, Italy.

Delicate design of metal wire with twelve wrought metal feet, with a removable brass tray. The frame is finished in very dark bronze lacquer, with highlights; losses in places from age and use. Some slight twisting. The brass tray has some small dents and an aged patina, which we have left as found.
