A large pendant light of layered acrylic bands in a wooden frame. Found in Sweden and attributed to Jakobsson, second half 20th century.
The light hangs on a brass stem and takes six E27 bulbs; new wiring will be required prior to install, six new ceramic bulb-holders are included. The wood has historic, but secured, splits to some lower corners. The scale and fittings of this light suggest an experimental or bespoke piece to light a large space; with details as seen in the V211 wall lights and Carolin pendants of the 1960s. The grooves on the inside of the wooden sections do not appear to have been used.
Approximate dimensions:
H: 48cm shade only | 90cm overall
