Mid-century lounge chair with contoured organic shape, designed by Fritz Neth for Correcta, Germany.
The chair has a compact design with a comfortable bucket seat, and the legs are wood with brass detail at the top. The contouring of the seat can be seen on other Fritz Neth designs, including the famous high-back Madame chair.
Recent upholstery is a textured medium-scale wool bouclé by Bute of Scotland, in medium grey (difficult to capture, and for us best shown in the close-up). The original moulded seat has been professionally recreated by hand. Elsewhere there is age-appropriate wear to the legs and feet, and a small compression mark in the brass at the top of one the legs.
