A decorative mosaic table, with brass surround. Switzerland 1950s
A delicate design of green and white glass tiles with details in gold, yellow and black - in the style of modernist bees - raised on long gold-lacquered legs with wooden ball feet. The fine appearance belies a sturdy build with the mosaic tiles laid on a heavy plywood base. The piece is in very nice original condition with signs of wear to both the frame and the top as one might expect from its age and use (see images). For us, this is a very happy but stylish piece!
