Circular push-pull door handle in bronze, mid-20th century, France.
A very simple elegant handle, made up of two separate pieces - each side with a slightly concave dish and wide stem. Good vintage condition with signs of wear, as one might expect from age and use, and a very nice mellow aged patina.
The components are set up to use either side of a single door, however you could consult your fitter to enable the two pieces to work on thicker doors, or alongside one another on double doors if you wish. One side is fitted with a bolt (3.5cm), which we have not tried to remove; small holes in the side of the stems could enable the use of locking screws, though they do not appear to have been used in the past.
Approximate dimensions for one side of the handle:
Diameter 14.5cm
Projection from face of door to front rim of one piece 5cm.
