A set of two very large bronze door handles in the shape of a seashell. 20th century, European.
The handles are impressive pieces, each of the same organic design, which can be turned to use on the left or right as required. Cast from two pieces, top and bottom (including the bracket), with lots of nice detail in the texture to show the hand-crafting process.
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, and a deep brown patina - with gold and green tones from handling and age - which we have left as found. For us the colours are best seen in image 2 & 4.

Fixing bracket: 24cm x 3cm.
Fixing holes are around 20cm apart (centre to centre) and the holes lie around 2-2.5cm in from the edge of the handle.
The handles are installed through the two holes in each bracket using bolts (not supplied) to suit the thickness of your door and the weight of the metal. These are large, heavy pieces and suitable installation will be required.
