Floor lamps in the shape of palm trees. Europe 1970s.
The lamps are made of steel - a playful variation of the classic Maison Jansen lamps - in the style of Christian Techoueyres, with the trees each standing in their own heavy steel base. The outer surface of both tree and base has been painted gold.
The weight of the base suggests these lights were made for use in a commercial environment - perhaps a shop or nightclub - but they could be equally suited for a domestic setting. The lights are all in good vintage condition, with rust showing to those areas not painted (see images for examples) but all are structurally sound and the electrics have been PAT tested.
