A set of two very attractive wrought iron screens in art nouveau style. European, early years of the twentieth century.
These pieces are delicately wrought iron, in fair vintage condition with lots of interesting patina and weathering - all left as found - including rust and layers of old paint. The shape is twisted in places and the occasional weld is broken. We would expect these pieces would have originally worked as decorative screens on a large door or pair of doors; the two panels being mirror images of each other.
Please note, these screens need to be mounted or hung - in the images they simply hang on the wall - they are not rigid or free-standing.
