Circular push-pull door handles in brass, with hammered texture. Mid-20th century. Found in France.
Each handle is made up of two separate pieces with hammered texture; each trimmed with brass twist, and wide stem. The components are in good vintage condition with lots of signs of wear, as one might expect from age and use. The twists are brazed to the plate in places, which appears to have been part of the making. See images for examples, close-ups and overview.
Each piece is set up to use either side of a single slim door, however you could consult your fitter to enable the two pieces to work on thicker doors, or alongside one another on double doors if you wish. One side is fitted with a bolt (2.7cm), which we have not tried to remove; small fixing screw to one piece.
Approximate dimensions for one side of each handle:
Diameter 13.5cm
Depth 4.3cm
* Depth = Projection from face of door to front rim of one piece.
