An art deco wall mirror in Venetian style, with pale blue glass frame. The frame is decorated with reverse etching and applied flowers, with three rows of barley twist - also in glass - around the edge. European, early to mid-20th century, found in Belgium.
The mirror is old with a correspondingly aged character. It shows lots of signs of wear, including distressing to the mirror and decorations. There is an area of faint yellowing upper left.
The mirror hangs on a wire across the back of the wooden frame, and leans slightly forward from the wall. Approximate dimensions (lying flat) are as follows to the edge of the glass twist.
H: 80cm
W: 68cm
D: 4.2cm
The flowers add a couple of millimetres in places.
